Tiffany Xiao

Tiffany is a high schooler from California who was inspired to start Equity in Education with Annie after watching a video of Yale students discussing the biased nature of college admissions. With the founding of this organization, she hopes to provide more children with a quality education that allows them to succeed in the future.
Annie Huang
Co-President
Annie Huang is currently a high schooler from Southern California and a part of the graduating class of 2023. Alongside Tiffany, she was interested in creating this organization to support children with quality education and opportunities.
Sydney Alleyne
Director of Communications
Sydney currently goes to boarding school in Connecticut, and she will be graduating with the class of 2023. Her interest in the organization stemmed from witnessing the wealth gap in her local community, and she saw this as an opportunity to help and enact change.
Daniel Delpassand
Director of Marketing
Daniel was born in Houston, Texas and now lives in California. In joining this organization, he hopes to provide a unique opportunity to engage less fortunate children in academic and extracurricular activities, which will ultimately benefit them as they approach adulthood.
Alyssa Jaster
Director of Finance
Alyssa is from Illinois, but she currently goes to high school in Connecticut as a member of the Class of 2023. Her interest in this organization stemmed from growing education disparities due to the Covid19 pandemic.
Yujin Kim
Creative director
Yujin is a high school student who currently goes to a boarding school in Connecticut . She decided to become the creative director because she found it a great opportunity to get involved in this organization as well as share her love for art
Nat Kpodonu
Director of Technology
Nat is a high school junior from Massachusetts, but she currently goes to a boarding school in New Hampshire. She is hopeful that through this, we ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to get sufficient education regardless of circumstances.
Ryan Alavi
Event Coordinator
In his free time, Ryan likes to play soccer, hang out with friends, and listen to music. He joined as an opportunity to help his community, and is motivated to get involved and have a direct part in improving the quality of education for children around the country.
